During the week commencing the 16th March the school held a science and engineering week to coincide with the national event. This year we decided to take on the task of ' Get Shaun home' this involved us looking at different modes of transport. Some classes just focused on one inventor with others looking more widely. Many classes carried out experiments and learnt many bits of new information.
During this week we were lucky enough to have special guests take two assemblies. The children really enjoyed Dr Bob Mudd's visit as he showed them lots of exciting experiments with a finale of a firework.
On Thursday afternoon we held a science fair in the school hall where each class could showcase what they had been looking at. All children including the nursery children got a chance to see this work. This was a lovely way to finish the week off!
