E-Safety

As a school we used ActiveBYTES active outcomes and guidance which is a Somerset ELIM (e-Learning and Information Management) provision used across the county.  

Termly lessons and assemblies focus on these themes:    

  • Autumn Term: I am kind and responsible    

  • Spring Term: I am safe and secure    

  • Summer Term: I am healthy  

 

  • Internet Safety Day 2023. The focus this year was making space for conversations about life online. Yesterday the whole school took part in Safer Internet Day 2023 - the theme this year was ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’. Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, the celebration sees thousands of organisations get involved to promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people. All pupils took part in an age-appropriate assembly delivered by Mr Franklin, our computing lead and this was followed up by learning in class.
