St Joseph'sCatholic Primary & Nursery School
Kenyan teachers visit St Joseph's
This afternoon we were delighted to welcome two teachers (Grace and Obadiah) from the Jolaurabi school in Kenya to our school. Grace visited us in 2006 when she came to the UK with the Singing Children of Africa choir to raise money to build an orphange next to the school.
They spent the afternoon visiting all the classes where the children questioned them about the children in their school. They were also keen to find out about how St Joseph's children are educated and to look at our amazing facilities.
At present, we support the Jolaurabi school by sending out school unifrom that has been donated when it's too small, or has ended up in our unclaimed "lost" property box at the end of the year
