Spirited Effort From Boys Football Team In ESFA Area Tournament
A huge well done to the 9 boys who travelled all the way to Bridgwater College to represent the school in an ESFA Area Tournament.
Pitted against some very strong competition from a number of schools well over double the size of ours, the boys performed remarkably well and played with real passion, grit and determination!
All of the games were extremely close and could have gone either way! There were some very narrow loses against St Mary's (who went on to win the overall competition), North Petherton (2-1), Somerset Bridge (1-0) but the highlight of the afternoon had to be a last second goal to seal victory against Berrow (2-1)!
Great performance boys, the school is extremely proud of your achievements and with many of the team still in Year 4 and 5, the future looks rosy!!
