Dear Parents and Carers

Further to our previous communication regarding the consultation for RSE and PSHE, and now that you have had the opportunity to review the documentation, please find below the link to our parent questionnaire. 

The documents are provided on the website https://www.st-josephs-burnham.co.uk/rse-consultation/ and we would ask that you complete our online questionnaire before 15.7.26. Any questions or comments will be kept and reviewed, with responses being sent after this date, only. We take any curriculum development very seriously and know that we must play our part in preparing our children for the wider world.

Parent Consultation - March 2023 

Thank you to those parents who responded to our Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) questionnaire. Your feedback helps us to improve and develop future teaching.

Just a reminder that the overview of the RSE programme is shared annually with parents in our curriulum information evenings in Term 1. 

Having reviewed the feedback the main comments for development related to our communication with you about delivery so we have:

• Ensured that information on the RSE curriculum forms part of curriculum information evenings in September. These presentations are also shared on the website.
• Written to you with information regarding the RSE coverage, purpose and overview particularly making reference to RSE in our Catholic School 
• Invited you to talk with teaching staff if you have any concerns prior to the delivery 
• Shared information on our website with you to help support your understanding of what is being delivered.
