Homework
This will be handed out on a Friday and is due back on Wednesdays. The homework will be linked to what the children have been learning about that week or will prepare them for what they are about to learn.
The 'Multiplication Challenge' takes place on a Thursday afternoon. The children are speed tested for 3 minutes on their times tables (one per week e.g. 2s) and once they score high enough will move on to learn the next times table. This is to improve the children's fluency. There will be practice sheets for the children to take home if they desire- which we will be encouraging!
Spellings are also handed out on Fridays ready for a test the following Friday. Please make sure the children are practicing their spellings every week.
