We took part in #Take10ToRead with RAMZEE. We watched a live online lesson from the author to find out how he became a comic book artist. He even taught us some drawing tips! At the end we could ask questions, we asked how he became so good at drawing. RAMZEE told us that we just need to keep practicing even just 10 minutes a day can help us get better and better.

October is the month of the Holy Rosary. We took part in a Mark 10 Liturgy and had a go at joining in the prayer. Afterwards we decorated a rosary and stain glass window using lots of blue colours to remember Mary and her love for Jesus. 

In French we have been learning how to say hello and goodbye. We have been practicing our French vocabulary and played a game today saying hello and goodbye in French to everyone in our class. 

This week in mental health week we have been thinking about how we can look after our mental health. Today we made a mental health first aid kit of all the things we can do when we are feeling worried, angry, upset or frustrated to help us to feel calm and happy again. We thought about what we could do at home or at school. We came up with lots of ideas such as, talking to a trusted adult, listening to music, reading a book, finding a quiet place, doing a physical activity such as kicking a ball or having a hug. This afternoon we listened to some orchestral Disney music while creating our mental health first aid kit and completing some mindfulness colouring.
