What a great set of results for our boys football team! Over the last few weeks the lads have been playing a string of league matches against other local schools in and around the Bridgwater area. With our goal keeper away due to illness, the boys had to share the responsibility and a special well done needs to go to Theo who did a fantastic job defending his net and to Reuben for a world class save in the last game which helped us keep a clean sheet! The boys played some fantastic football and I'm happy to say that they were unbeaten in all four matches with two wins (4-0 and 5-0) and two draws (0-0 and 2-2). All of the games were exciting to watch but in particular a last second equalizer from Harry in our 2-2 draw against Bridgwater College Academy had Mr Fisher dancing around on the side lines!! Many of the schools we play are well over twice the size of St Joseph's which makes these results even more special. Great job boys!
