Sports Hall Athletics Team Finish 4th in County Finals
This was an extraordinary result for out Sports Hall Athletics team! Having finished in 3rd place at the Sedgemoor Area trials, facing competition from the best athletes in the County was always going to be a challenge! But lets not forget how magnificent these St Joseph’s children are! They never cease to amaze me with their attitude and effort throughout competitions and this event was no different. The team completed every single relay race without making a single mistake. In the field events they jumped and threw with immense passion and determination against the best in the County. Overall, the result was just amazing and the whole team could not have done more. To finish as the 4th best small school in the County is yet another incredible achievement for this cohort of children, especially as 14 of them are still eligible to compete next year! ……. I couldn’t be prouder!!
