Tennis stars reach County Finals

Yesterday, a teams of 8 girls and 8 boys from Year 3/4 travelled to the Avenue tennis club in Burnham-on-Sea to compete in the Sedgemoor area tennis competition. The children were magnificent and seemed to improve with every game! With some fantastic play from all concerned, I'm pleased to say that two of our teams finished in first and third place and have now progressed to the prestigious County Finals which will be held at Millfield next month. A huge well done to all the children who competed in this competition.... you were all brilliant!
