Year 4 Gymnasts perform amazingly in Key Steps competition!
A huge well done to the talented Year 4 gymnasts who represented the school in this years Key Steps Area competition. Travelling all the way to St Joseph's in Bridgwater, the team of 4 boys and 4 girls competed against 7 other schools from around the area in a bid to be crowned Sedgemoor Area champions. The squad of 8 had to learn and perform a fairly complex routine involving a backwards roll, a cartwheels, an arabesque, a shoulder stand, a half turn jump as well as a front, side and back support! Once again, even under the pressure of being judged with their movements, this fantastic group of 8 children did not disappoint. The were hugely supportive of each other throughout the competition and the gymnastics on display was just brilliant! Well done all of you, you were a credit to the school and should be very proud of yourselves.
