Year 5/6 Boys Finish 3rd In Futsal Area Competition
A huge well done to our Year 5/6 Boys Futsal team, who travelled all the way to Haygrove School in Bridgwater yesterday to compete in the Sedgemoor Area Futsal competition.
The boys played some brilliant football. In futsal, the ball is slightly heavier than a normal football, placing the emphasis on keeping the ball on the ground and focusing on precise passing. The boys did not disappoint! They moved the ball around beautifully and scored some fantastic, well-worked goals.
Their attitude and effort throughout the competition were superb. After a couple of wins, a draw, and just two narrow losses, I am pleased to say that the boys finished the competition in third place.
Well done, lads! This was a brilliant effort and a great start to your season.
