Year 5/6 Boys Finish 3rd In Futsal Area Competition
A huge well done to our Year 5/6 Boys Futsal team who travelled all the way to Haygrove School yesterday in Bridgwater to compete in the Sedgemoor Area Futsal competition. The boys played some brilliant futsal. With Futsal, the ball that is used is slightly heavier than a normal football and the emphasis is on keeping the ball on the ground and focusing on the passing element of the game. The boys did not disappoint, moving the ball around really well and scoring some really well worked goals! Attitude and effort throughout the competition was superb and after a couple of wins, a draw and just two narrow losses, I'm pleased to say that the boys finished the competition in third place. Well done lads, this was a brilliant effort and a great start to your season.
