Greatwood Pictures!

Memories to last a lifetime!

Day 5 - After packing up all of our belongings, we took a lovely walk into the woods to find the perfect spot for den building! We worked hard to create shelters that were animal, wind and water proof, and then our instructors put it to the test - some of us got a little wet! We are now eating our lunch, and will then head off home after a wonderful time!

Day 4 Evening - We all sat around the campfire and listened to wonderful stories, sang very funny songs and played brilliant games. We ended the night by roasting marshmallows, making smores and drinking hot chocolate. We have all loved our final day here!

Day 4 - Today we went to Kilve, and made some incredible memories! We did abseiling, rock climbing, crate stacking and grass sledging, and I am so incredibly proud of how every child pushed themselves to try their best and give everything a go. They didn’t let their fears stand in their way, and it was amazing to see every child smile and laugh for the entire day!

A visit from some wild horses!

Day 3 - Another brilliant day! In the morning, we completed a tracking and trailing activity, where we had to hide in the woods and camouflage ourselves in order to not get caught! In the afternoon, we built our own rockets (with eggy pilots) and launched them, with great success! In the evening, we completed team building activities (whilst crowding around Ms Cooper’s radio to listen to the England game!)

Day 2 - After a (very) early start this morning, we got straight into the action and enjoyed a very busy day! We all had lots of fun, taking part in archery, swimming, buggy building and nightline. We got very wet and muddy (including Miss Penman!), and had smiles on our face the entire day. This evening, we did orienteering and had yummy hot chocolate. We’ve got some tired faces tonight, so we are all tucked up in bed, ready for another day of fun tomorrow!

Day 1 - We arrived at Greatwood, very excited and ready to go! After a welcome chat, we unpacked and made our beds. We enjoyed our lunch and played football in the sun, and then took part in duck racing and dam building, where we only got a little bit muddy and soggy! We finished the night with a game of bingo. A really fun day had by all!
