  • Record Turn Out At Latest Cross Country

    Thu 16 Oct 2014
On Wednesday afternoon over 50 children from St Joseph's competed in the latest inter-school cross country held at The King Alfred School. There were representatives for all age groups from Year 3 all the way up to the oldest Year 6 children. Weather conditions were perfect for cross country running as the children braved the elements and battled hard for positions! There were of course a number of children who won medals and their gallant efforts should not be forgotten, however this weeks write up will focus more on the overall efforts of the team. Many children run regularly in these cross country events and although they do not finish in the top twenty positions their effort and determination to represent the school and compete as part of a team is highly commended and needs to be highlighted in the same light as our medal winners -You all know who you are! Well done team St Joseph's!!!!!
