  • Chaplaincy Commissioning

    Fri 28 Nov 2014

Today saw an exciting new event for our Diocese. Eight children (two from each of the KS 2 classes) have been chosen as Chaplaincy Leaders for our school. They went along to a special service in Clifton cathedral, along with about five hundred children from Primary & Secondary Schools across the Diocese. Bishop Declan  presented each member with a badge to wear with pride in their schools. Certificates were also produced, which we will be giving out in an Assembly in the new year.
Look out for the Chaplaincy Team updates in the future!

The boys finished finished in 4th Place overall, winning against St Mary's (2-0) and drawing against Eastover (2-2), North Petherton (0-0) and Cannington (2-2). They lost just the one game against St John and St Francis (1-0). This was an excellent all round effort from the team with some great football on display. • Friendly Tournament a huge success for our Tag Rugby team

    Thu 20 Nov 2014
Today, two teams of boys and girls from St Joseph's participated in a friendly 'Tag Rugby' tournament. The tournament itself was aimed at giving children a taste of inter school competition in a relaxed and friendly format. Although final scores were not collected in, the format enabled teams to move up and down the pitches dependent on each result. The two teams from St Joseph's played fantastically well with incredible team spirit. It was a great experience for all the children who took part  and we look forward to the next tournament.
