• Cross Country Stars At It Again!!

  A  huge well done to the 23 junior children who braved the elements on the penultimate day of term and raced cross country at Brymore College in Cannington. These races were slightly different from previous opportunities with two year groups combining to race against each other. The children of St Joseph's were one again a credit to the school and they always surprise me with their energy, determination and spirit! Great effort from everyone who participated - You should be very proud of yourselves!!!

• Boys football team end the year on a high!

  What a great set of results for our boys football team! Over the last few weeks the lads have been playing a string of league matches against other local schools in and around the Bridgwater area. With our goal keeper away due to illness, the boys had to share the responsibility and a special well done needs to go to Theo who did a fantastic job defending his net and to Reuben for a world class save in the last game which helped us keep a clean sheet! The boys played some fantastic football and I'm happy to say that they were unbeaten in all four matches with two wins (4-0 and 5-0)  and two draws (0-0 and 2-2). All of the games were exciting to watch but in particular a last second equalizer from Harry in our 2-2 draw against Bridgwater College Academy had Mr Fisher dancing around on the side lines!! Many of the schools we play are well over twice the size of St Joseph's which makes these results even more special. Great job boys!

  Thank you all for your very generous donations for the non uniform day last week .... we've managed to make up 20 hampers for the raffle.

• Poppy Appeal AMAZING result from St Joseph's this year

  The Royal British Legion have told us that thanks to your generosity the school has collected an amazing £273.95 for the Poppy Appeal.

  They told us 'without your help, we would be unable to continue our vital welfare and benevolent work. Thank you very much for helping with our appeal'
