  • Rocket Fun

    Thu 20 Jul 2017
To mark the end of a fantastic space topic, Mr Fisher and Miss Bishop's class spent the morning working in small groups designing their very own space rockets! The afternoon was spent launching the rockets in the school field and recording which rocket went the furthest! I'm sure you will all agree, the pictures highlight great fun being had by everyone.

When they returned Angela and Alison had prepared a 'Seaside' lunch of Hotdogs followed by an Ice Cream Cone with sauce and sprinkles.

  • St Matthew's Triumph on Sports Day

    Fri 07 Jul 2017
A huge well done to all of the children in St Matthew's (The Yellow Team) who were crowned champions in this years Sports Day 2017. The event is self rounded off a week of sport where all the classes were given the opportunity to play Golf, Rugby, Tennis with some classes even trying their hand at Zumba and Karate! There was a great atmosphere throughout the week and I was particularly impressed with the all round effort and attitude displayed by the children.
