Keep up to date with all the news happening in school at the moment.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of travelling all the way to Yeovil after school to watch three of of children compete for the Sedgemoor Area in this year's County Cross Country. Racing against the fastest children across the County of Somerset, this trio of superstars did not disappoint! All three of them ran brilliantly in the sperate Year 3/4 Boys and Girls races with the Sedgemoor Girls teams finishing in second place and the Boys team going one better and winning the team prize. A special mention must go to one of our girls who finished with an individual silver medal - a remarkable achievement and even more impressive as she has another year in that age group! Great work from all three of you!!
We are thrilled to share the news that collectively as a result of our 'Big Lent Walk' our children have raised a massive £1,363.00 for CAFOD. Our money will help communities like Bayezid's in Bangladesh. In some parts of the world, there is too little rain. In Bangladesh , there is too much. The result is the same-seeds don't grow, plants die and families go hungry.
With CAFOD's help, communities in Bangladesh are building floating gardens that are immune to floods, allowing them to grow enough food to eat and sell, helping them make a living.
